Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use this website, create an account, contact Abigail, or book a service.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of https://abigailabamukong.com, its account features, forms, booking tools, counseling and mentorship services, and related content. By accessing or using the website, creating an account, submitting a form, or booking a service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the affected website features or services. Additional written terms presented for a particular program, event, payment, or engagement form part of these terms for that service.

2. Who may use the services

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent, guardian, or other legally authorized adult must approve and supervise your use when required.

You agree to provide accurate, current information and not to impersonate another person or use the website for an unlawful or misleading purpose.

3. Service scope and professional boundaries

The website may provide information about counseling, mentorship, ministry, speaking, community work, books, events, and related services. Availability, format, duration, eligibility, pricing, and outcomes vary by service and may change.

Website content is general information and does not by itself create a counselor-client, pastoral, fiduciary, employment, partnership, or other professional relationship. A service relationship begins only after the applicable booking, intake, consent, and acceptance steps are completed.

The website and its messaging tools are not emergency or crisis services. If you believe someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical or mental-health assistance, contact local emergency services or a qualified local professional immediately.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials and connected email account secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Do not share another person's private information unless you have a lawful basis and their permission. Couple or partner features must be used only with the invited person's knowledge and consent.

5. Bookings, payments, and cancellations

Prices, currency, required deposits, installment terms, scheduling rules, and cancellation conditions are displayed during booking or communicated for the relevant service. You agree to review and accept those details before confirming a booking.

A requested appointment is not final until the required payment or approval step is completed and confirmation is issued. You are responsible for providing accurate payment references and attending at the confirmed time.

Current scheduling policies may include minimum booking notice, cancellation notice, and late-cancellation charges. Where displayed, the current policy is 24 hours' notice and a possible late-cancellation fee of 40 USD. The service-specific terms shown at booking control if they differ.

6. Counseling and sensitive information

Counseling information should be submitted only through the designated account and questionnaire features. General contact, newsletter, and social-media channels are not appropriate for detailed confidential disclosures.

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Confidentiality may also be limited where disclosure is required by applicable law, a valid legal process, professional duties, or a serious safety concern.

You remain responsible for your own decisions. No particular personal, relationship, health, spiritual, financial, or professional outcome is promised.

7. Acceptable use

You must not disrupt the website, probe or bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, send spam, submit fraudulent bookings, harass another person, or use the services in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, staff, service integrity, legal compliance, or security.

8. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, text, graphics, videos, course materials, questionnaires, books, downloads, trademarks, and other original content are owned by Abigail Abamukong or used with permission.

You may use public website content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, adapt, record, distribute, or create derivative commercial materials without prior written permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

9. Electronic communications

When you provide contact information or use an account, you consent to receive service-related communications electronically, including booking, payment, security, questionnaire, and policy notices. Transactional messages are separate from optional marketing communications.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing messages using the provided method, but essential service and account notices may still be sent while you use the relevant service.

11. Availability and disclaimers

The website and its content are provided on an as-available basis. We aim to keep information accurate and services accessible, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, permanent availability, or compatibility with every device.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, implied warranties are excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, right, or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Abigail Abamukong and the service team are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from website use, third-party services, or reliance on general content.

Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, or another liability that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

13. Changes and termination

We may improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue website features or update these terms as services and legal requirements evolve. Material updates will be identified by a revised effective date and may be communicated through the website or account.

Terms that by their nature should continue after account closure or service completion—including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, and dispute provisions—remain effective.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Republic of Cameroon, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to you.

Please contact us first so a concern can be reviewed in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court or other competent forum with jurisdiction under applicable law.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to contact@abigailabamukong.com or addressed to Buea, Cameroon.

Effective date: 2026-08-01. This page should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel as the services, payment practices, and applicable requirements evolve.
